Vinod Pillai

He comes with a very strong background of Operations and Project management in the Oil & Gas sector. Vinod holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from Mumbai University, a Masters Certificate of Competency and HND from Blackpool & Fylde University UK, and various other trade certifications and accreditations in the Oil & Gas and Marine fields.

Vinod brings with him over 25 years of hands on experience, knowledge and expertise in the Marine and O&G industries in mainstream Operations and EPCIC for FPSO conversions. His Marine career spanning 10 years included working onboard various Crude tankers and VLCC’s trading across the globe.

On the Oil and Gas sector since 2002 he has worked onshore and offshore in various roles for most of the top FPSO companies in the world including SBM, Modec, Prosafe/BW Offshore, and Bumi Armada.

Prior taking over senior operations management and project management roles he also worked as OIM on FPSO’s.

His last few major stints prior joining Tuff were as Project Manager/GM for Bumi Armada and as Operations/Asset Manager for BW offshore for their respective facilities operating in West Africa.
