FPSO Cyrus Conversion
FPSO Cyrus is a National Oil Company with assets in the Persian Gulf region requiring their first FPSO in the region. The Field is located in the Persian Gulf, with average water depth of 67 meters. Initial development of a Wellhead platform (WHP) and a Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) facility.
Technological and logistical hurdles were presented by the challenging timelines. TUFF completed the refurbishment, conversion and life extension of the donor vessel, concurrently executing works related to Topside Modules via various International vendors.
The topside modules were then further integrated when the donor vessel sailed into the UAE. Final commissioning activities were carried out before sailway to the field where the offshore installation took place.
